You know drinking water is good for you, and your body is 80% water. But, is your water poisoning you?
Water poisoning may be happening in your home without you knowing. Regular tap water is treated in water plants but remains full of chlorine, VOCs (volatile organic compounds), fluoride, MTBE (gasoline additive) and many many other particles and chemicals. This can not only be hazardous to drink but also to breath while showering. The steam from your shower produces a poisonous gas from the chemicals and you actually absorb more toxins than you would drinking a days worth of tap water. Chlorine and other chemicals found in water can suppress your immune system, dry out your skin, and scar your arteries among other things. Because of this, its best to avoid hot tubs, steam rooms (a.k.a. gas chambers), and swimming pools that use tap water in conjunction with added chlorine.
Dont be fooled by bottled water either, testing of this water is less regulated than tap water and some is found to contain even more bacteria. Youd think for the outrageous mark-up youd be getting a decent product, but thats just not the case. 25% of bottled water tested was the same as what youd get out of your faucet. In addition, the plastic containers can leach chemicals into the water, poisoning it further. Look for glass bottled water if your going to take this route.
Whats the best way to get PURE water?
A water ionizer! It electrically charges the tap water to make it a powerful antioxidant. This water is upto 6 times more hydrating than bottled or tap water, which means there is rapid nutrient absorption by our cells. Above all, the water has an alkaline pH, this washes away excess acidity in the body and the risk factors associated with it.

Chanson water ionizers also produce acidic water. This acidic water is great for the skin and itchy scalp, because the skin is naturally an acid organ (this slight acidity of 5.5 pH helps our body fight off bacteria), people who regularly use acidic water to wash their bodies tend to have more youthful and vibrant looking complexion than those who use hard water. This is because they have not disrupted the pH balance of their skin by stripping the skin of the natural oils.
Hard water is usually due to the presence of excess calcium. By applying acidic (soft) ionized water on the skin; it will help to clear up excess bacteria, reduce acne, psoriasis, and other blemishes. Furthermore, it will work like an astringent to tighten up the skin and remove wrinkles. Acidic ionized water can also be used to reduce inflammation and itchiness caused by insect bites.
In Japanese hospitals acidic water is used to help sterilize wounds, treat diabetic ulcers and keep hospitals clear of infectious bacteria and viruses, while in homes, the acidic water is used for such purposes as cleaning counter tops, cutting boards, floors, and more..
A happy customer recently wrote to us:
“I was so excited about the shower filter, I tried it out last night when I got home at 9:00 pm. The shower filter really works. My wife and I both tried it out. It made her lose less hair, less frizz this morning, easier to brush last night and this morning. For me I don’t need to “blow my nose” in the shower because in a hot shower most of the time my nose gets clogged up. I can also smell the soap better. It is more intense and refreshing. Also, thanks to the acid water; the redness on the right side of my nose is almost gone and the face skin is softer. Thank you for teaching me so much.
Yours Sincerely,
Seng Lee Tan”
